The Chronicles of a Penny Pincher

this write-up is dedicated to all heroes of small purses out there, suffering the burden of their remarkable and patriotic (?) tasks, for the upliftment of human dignity (rizal ba ito?), for the realization of the society of penny pinchers, which is to pinch and pinch and pinch and pinch and pinch bucks to be able to buy and buy and buy and buy stuff, and to all those who just have an obsession of saving their precious daily allowance for the heck of it...

Canto 1 - The Requirements

1. A Calculator - for all those computing stuff that determines how much you will save every day, week, month, and a year. Usually, it is the device that will make your eyes pop out because of the amount you can save in the long run.
2. An Appetite as small as a mouse- it doesn't come out naturally. But anyone can train their tummies to be as thrift as their purse. Yep, it really requires a great deal of effort to do that. But if you really feel a need to be filled, check out the 30's(a meal costs P30) carinderias in P. Noval.
3. Simply-licious- avoiding the vanity wave can be a very modest and fulfilling task a penny pincher has to do. Stick to the saying, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Vanity stuff can be very addictive and will leave your wallet hapless.
